Under Amiri Decision No. (6) of 2026, Eng. Nawaf Ibrahim Al Hamad Al Mana has been appointed as Chairman of the Qatar General Organization for Standards and Metrology. The decision was issued on Sunday and takes effect immediately from the date of issuance.

The appointment reflects Qatar’s continued focus on strengthening governance and oversight within key regulatory institutions. The Qatar General Organization for Standards and Metrology plays a central role in developing and enforcing national standards, ensuring product quality, and supporting trade, industrial growth, and consumer protection.
