Qatar Iran negotiations have become a central focus of diplomatic efforts as tensions escalate across the Middle East. Qatar’s minister of state for foreign affairs has urged both Iran and the United States to return to dialogue in order to prevent the conflict from spreading further across the region.
Speaking in an interview with Al Jazeera, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz al-Khulaifi warned that continued hostilities threaten regional stability and global energy security. He stressed that diplomacy remains the only viable solution to the escalating crisis.

The minister also highlighted the broader global implications of the conflict. He noted that disruptions in the Gulf threaten international energy markets, particularly shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz.

Al-Khulaifi warned that maintaining free navigation through the strait is essential for global economic stability.
For that reason, he argued that the current crisis requires an international diplomatic effort rather than a purely regional response.
