Qatar Airways operated 25 special flights between Doha and India over a three-day period, transporting nearly 7,750 Indian nationals, according to the Indian Embassy in Qatar.

The update comes as Indian authorities continue coordinating travel support and community assistance for citizens living in the Gulf nation amid ongoing advisories and safety measures.

Qatar Airways India Flights Carry Thousands

The Indian Embassy in Doha confirmed that the flights operated between March 20 and March 22, helping thousands of passengers travel back to India efficiently. The airline advised travelers to make bookings through its official website, mobile application, or approved travel agents.

Officials said the operation demonstrated strong coordination between Qatar Airways and Indian diplomatic authorities in supporting the large Indian community in Qatar.

The embassy also urged residents to closely follow instructions and advisories issued by Qatari authorities regarding safety and emergency procedures.

Qatar Airways India Services Support Students

The embassy revealed that Indian Ambassador officials met with parents of students preparing for important examinations, including the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Authorities said they remain in close contact with India’s National Testing Agency to monitor developments and provide updates to affected students and families.

The advisory also highlighted the importance of following shelter-in-place and emergency response guidelines within educational institutions as physical classes gradually resume.

Indian Embassy Maintains Emergency Assistance

The Indian Embassy stated that its control room and emergency communication channels remain active to assist community members with travel concerns and other inquiries.

Support services currently include helplines, WhatsApp assistance, and email communication systems designed to address urgent requests from Indian nationals in Qatar.

Officials emphasized that cooperation with local authorities and compliance with security instructions remain essential for public safety.

Qatar Airways India Operations Reflect Strong Gulf Links

The large-scale movement of passengers once again highlights the importance of Qatar Airways in connecting India with the Middle East and other international destinations.

Qatar remains home to a significant Indian expatriate population working across sectors including construction, healthcare, education, and finance.

Industry analysts say strong aviation links between India and Gulf countries continue to play a critical role in supporting employment, business travel, tourism, and family connectivity across the region.
