QFC Connect collaboration

QFC Connect collaboration continues to shape Qatar’s business landscape as the Qatar Financial Centre brought together hundreds of companies, national partners and industry leaders to accelerate innovation. The latest edition of the networking event highlighted the growing importance of cooperation across sectors that are transforming Qatar’s economy.

Held under the theme Empowering Growth Through Collaboration, the engagement gathered more than 400 participants, including representatives from Invest Qatar, Qatar Development Bank, the Qatar Research Development and Innovation Council and Qatar Manpower Solutions. Attendees explored market expansion strategies, shared challenges and identified new ways to strengthen Qatar’s competitiveness in the technology and innovation landscape.

Driving Growth Through QFC Connect Collaboration

The event showcased how direct interaction between QFC firms and national stakeholders improves knowledge exchange and supports a more cohesive business environment. By bringing together companies operating across financial services, advanced technology, talent solutions and research, QFC Connect created a platform for businesses to gain insights, identify partners and access resources needed for sustainable growth.

Yousuf Mohamed Al-Jaida, Chief Executive Officer of the Qatar Financial Centre, emphasised that supporting client needs remains a core priority. He noted that the diversification of Qatar’s economy requires platforms that unlock opportunities in innovation, investment and talent development. The event reaffirmed the role of the QFC as a catalyst for new business partnerships and a key driver of future-focused economic expansion.

Building a More Competitive Business Environment

The QFC highlighted ongoing reforms designed to simplify and accelerate business setup. These improvements include instant licensing for non-regulated activities, a streamlined incorporation process and a significant reduction in application fees. Recently, the Centre introduced its Platinum Onboarding Service, enabling one-hour incorporation for companies seeking an efficient, premium start-up experience.

These measures aim to lower entry barriers, enhance investor confidence and empower companies to establish and grow in Qatar. As global attention continues to shift toward innovation-driven economies, QFC Connect collaboration is expected to play an essential role in supporting Qatar’s ambition to attract global talent, strengthen enterprise capabilities and advance its position as a leading business destination.
