The third edition of the Match for Hope football tournament wrapped up at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium on Friday, January 30, 2026, raising an impressive QR45,294,142 (USD12,409,354). The tournament’s proceeds will support the Education Above All Foundation’s projects across Palestine, Sudan, Nepal, Guatemala, Senegal, Malawi, and Haiti.

This year’s event built upon the success of the previous two editions, which together raised over QR71 million (USD19.5 million) and reached tens of millions of viewers worldwide. With a packed stadium and a stellar lineup, the tournament was not only a sporting spectacle but also a significant charitable occasion.

The evening kicked off with a high-energy pre-match performance by Grammy Award-winning duo The Chainsmokers, followed by a spectacular half-time show headlined by global pop superstars Jonas Brothers. The event, organized by Q Life, the cultural division of Qatar’s International Media Office, brought together a unique blend of sporting legendscontent creators, and international musicians.

In the final showdown, fan-favorite creators Chunkz and AboFlah captained their respective teams, with Team Chunkz emerging victorious after a dramatic 8-7 win.
